Who is Elizabeth Gillies?

Gillies was born as Elizabeth Egan Gillies on 26th July 1993, in Haworth, New Jersey. Born to her American parents, Lorrie Gillies,  and Dave Gillies, she is of White ethnicity and holds American nationality. She also has a younger brother named George Gillies.

Regarding her education, Elizabeth attended Northern Valley Regional High School, but she left after a short time to do full-time acting. 

At the early age of twelve, Elizabeth began appearing in local open casting calls. In a concise period, Gillies started making appearances in advertisements for big companies such as Virgin Mobile.

Egan made her first television appearance as a recurring character in The Black Donnellys. She also mentioned that Gillies was not allowed to watch the finished show due to her parents, who thought it was not good for her.

Later in 2008, Elizabeth appeared in small roles in Locker 514, Harold, The Clique. The same year Egan also made her appearance as Lucy in a Godspeed.

In the year 2010, Elizabeth starred as bad girl and occasional antagonist named Jade West in the Nickelodeon television series Victorious. The following portrayal also marked a second-time work with famous singer and actress Ariana Grande.

Talking about her portrayal in the Victorious, Gillies also said, 

''It's wonderful. I love playing Jade. I always say she's not so much the 'mean' girl, but the 'bad' girl in so many ways. She has a lot of human qualities to her – she's not just completely sociopathic. She's sweet with her boyfriend. It's nice to play a character with some depth.''

The show was premiered on 27th March 2010. Meanwhile, Egan also made her appearance on various music videos like Victorious starring Max Bernstein and Victorious 2.0. Added to that, her works include Give It Up (Duet with Ariana Grande) and Take a Hint. Moreover, she also recorded and wrote the song You Don't Know Me on an episode of Victorious.

The following portrayal helped Elizabeth gain huge fame, and she began making her appearance in various television series, music videos, and guest appearances. In 2014, Egan portrayed as Mandy in the horror movie Animal and the Lifetime movie Killing Daddy, as Callie Ross.

In the year 2015, Elizabeth Egan Gillies portrayed as Heather in the remake version of Vacation. The film also received a wide release on 29th July 2015. Then, Egan made her appearance in the comedy series Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll as Gigi, who is an aspiring daughter and singer for ex-rockstar Johnny Rock.

On 16th July 2015, the show was premiered which gained mixed reviews, however, Egans's acting was well praised. The went up to 2 seasons. Later, on 9th September 2016, FX refused to renew the show for a third season, and the series was canceled.

In 2017, Elizabeth portrayed in the CW television series Dynasty as Fallon Carrington, playing along with Brent Antonello. When Nicollette Sheridan left the role of Fallon's mother Alexis Carrington, Gillies also covered that role temporarily and continued her appearance as Fallon too.
