Giselle Fernandez is an American Five-time Emmy award-winning journalist, newsreader, and film producer who now works for Spectrum Cable’s News 1 as an anchor. Also, she is known for her debuts on network TV as a guest anchor and reporter for NBC Today, CBS Early Show, BC Nightly News, and CBS Evening News. Moreover, she joined as a contestant on ABC's show Dancing With The Stars in January 2006.

She was born on May 15, 1961, in Mexico City, Mexico United States. But when she was just 4, she moved to East Los Angeles along with her father who was a flamenco dancer and Mexican folklore specialist mother. She holds American citizenship and is of mixed ethnicity. So far, she graduated from California State University, Sacramento, in 1982 with a major subject in Journalism and Government.

Following her divorce in 2014, Giselle has successfully kept her personal things away from the limelight. Thus, there is not much information regarding her new love affair to the media due to her privacy nature.

After one month of death of her dad of Alzheimer's disease, Giselle went to marry her love of life, John. They might be the date for a few years before tying the knot. The lovebirds walked down the aisle on November 27th, 2002 in a private ceremony. The big day was held in their  Beverly Hills home on Thursday afternoon among their loved ones.

During their matrimony, the duo adopted daughter Talei from Guatemala. But suddenly, the things between them went wrong and dedicated not to continue their marital relationship. They officially had divorced in April 2014 after being added for nearly two years.

Before marrying Farrand, the host for Access Hollywood was previously engaged to her late fiance Ron Kershaw, whom she met in Chicago. An American reporter, Kershaw was also previously involved with TV presenter, Jessica Savitch.

After a short term of relation, Fernandez and Ron were engaged but their relationship flourished for about a year sadly. Ron died in July 1989 when he was still with Giselle. He passed away from pancreatic cancer and liver cancer at the age of 44. She said that it was very traumatic and he was the love of my life.

Further, she has partnered with Jonathan Roberts in the second season of ABC's Dancing With The Stars in 2006. While Derek Hough became the record-breaking six times winner of the show with his celebrity partners.

Giselle campaigns with Latino Projects as a member of the Smithsonian National Board. She is also a founding member of the Futuro Fund under President Barack Obama.
