Today we are talking about a co-founding partner of Firehouse Strategies. He is none other than Alex Conant.

Alex Conant is an American political operative, media, and communication strategist and consultant. He is also known as the former Communications Director for Marco Rubio's 2016 presidential campaign.

Alex Conant Childhood

Conant was born as Roger Alexander Conant in New York, the United States of America, where another political strategist Adrienne Elrod was born.

Alex spent most of his childhood in Sunfish Lake, Minnesota. Born to his American parents, Roger R. Conant and Ingrid J. Conant, he is of White ethnicity and holds American nationality.

Conant's father Roger previously worked as the chief investment officer and chairman of Magni Asset Management in Minneapolis and mother Ingrid served as manager at for farms at Lime Springs, Iowa.

Academic Qualification and Career

Talking about his education, Conant received his graduation via St. Paul Academy in 1998. Later, he attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and received his master's degree in public affairs. 

During his days in the university, Alex also worked for the student daily The Badger Herald as the editor. 

In 2005, Conant began working for the Senator John Thune of South Dakota as press secretary. The following year, he served as deputy press secretary for the Office of Management and Budget. 

Moreover, Alex is also a co-founding partner of the Firehouse Strategie. It is a political consulting firm which was launched in 2016 by Will Holley, Terry Sullivan, and Conant. 

Wife- Caitlin Dunn

Alex is a married man. Conant exchanged his wedding vows with Caitlin Dunn in 2014. The wedding was held at Roman Catholic Church of the Annunciation based in Washington.

Alex and his wife Caitlin dated for many years before their marriage as we can see their photos together on their social media from the very beginning.

Caitlin works for Senator Rob Portman, an Ohio Republican as communication director. She is the daughter of Robert K. Dunn and Kathleen Fitzgerald Dunn.

Children

It's been more than 5 years Alex and Caitlin are living a happy married life but the couple does not seem to have children till date. 

Moreover, Alex and his spouse have never talked about their kids or family planning in any interviews. Hopefully, we might get to hear about their children in the upcoming days.
