The Jeopardy's host, Jean has married twice until now and currently living happily with his second wife, Jean Currivan-Trebek, who is a real estate project manager from New York. It has been 29 years of their successful marriage, and the pair is still sharing a healthy and great bonding. Recently in an interview, he stated,

"My wife Jean and I have been together almost 29 years, and I was thinking about President Bush when he died, and all the comments about his life about what a nice guy he is, and how he and his wife had been together 73 years. I thought, 'oh my gosh … if I'd just met Jean in my 20s, we could have had a long life together."

He was graduated from Fordham University and the co-owner of the famous Manhattan Restaurant, Oso.

"There was just something about the hospitality industry that I fell in love with."

First Marriage Of Alex Trebek

Before being in a relationship with Jean, he was married to Elaine Callei in 1974. Well, Elaine is a well-known American businesswoman who owns an art gallery. Their wedding ceremony was held privately between their close friends and relatives.

But, their marriage was a failure as they parted their ways after seven years of togetherness. They divorced in 1981, and the reason for their separation was Alex started pursuing his career in the USA and giving less time in their life. Sad news for the fans and followers of Alex. Currently, he has diagnosed with stage four Pancreatic Cancer. He announced this tragic news with Jeopardy's viewers on 6 March 2019 and also published on YouTube that he would be fighting despite the dim prognosis for the disease at that stage. He referred to his family and said, 

"And with the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease."

Regarding his Cancer, his wife, Jean, wrote a blog named "Inner Peace," which is about remaining positive in her online magazine, Inside Wink. Here's what she wrote about her husband a hard time,

"I, too, strongly believe that the bridge to a peaceful co-existence lies in our ability to communicate our feelings respectfully."

For now, his family, as well as his well-wishers, are in deep pain and hoping that good will happen with Alex. Reportedly, he shares an update that his tumors shrunk by 50%. According to the American Cancer Society, the survival rate of pancreatic Cancer is five-year.

Before being a patient of Cancer, he suffered from a couple of minor heart attacks. Back on 11 December 2011, he suffered his first heart attack. He severed his Achilles tendon while chasing a burglar who broke in his Francisco hotel room on 27 July 2011.

Again, he suffered a mid-heart attack on 23 June 2012. Back on 4 January 2018, he announced that he would take medical treatment leave as he was diagnosed with subdural hematoma.
