She is the president of the Steven & Alexandra Cohen Foundation which is a non-profit organization that primarily focuses on giving direction towards tick-borne and Lyme disease research for communities and children. 

She is also a member of New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Dean's Council and serves on the Chairman's Council of the New York Restoration Project. Her deeds have led her to win the name under 50 Most Powerful Women in U.S. Philanthropy by Inside Philanthropy.
