Amy Louise Sedaris is an American comedian, writer, and actress. She is well known as the creator of the television show At Home with Amy Sedaris on truTV. Sedaris appeared as Audrey Temple in the podcast Homecoming. She is also known for her voice credit as Princess Carolyn in the Netflix animated series BoJack Horseman.

Amy was born on 29th March 1961 in Endicott, New York, United States of America, where another actress Cheryl Howard was born. Born to her American parents, Sharon Elizabeth and Louis Harry, she is of White ethnicity and holds an American nationality.

The famous actress and comedian were in a long-term relationship with an American actor Paul Dinello. The pair dated for more than eight years from 1999-2007.
