Anna Kate Denver, aka Anna Kate Deutschendorf, was adopted by the most popular acoustic artist John Denver, aka Henry John Deutschendorf Jr and his first wife, Annie Martell, in 1976. Though there is not much information about her biological parents, it looks like she was adopted from a local adoption agency. 

Anna grew up in Aspen, Colorado, with her brother, Zachary John Denver, also adopted by the Denver family. From various sources, it has been heard that John loved his kids more than anything. Anna Kate Denver's Parents' Married Life

John Denver and Annie Martell exchanged vows on June 9, 1967, when John's singing career had just started. After living in Edina, MN, at the begining of their relationship, the pair moved to Aspen after several years.

When John found fame, their lives turned upside down, leading them to split. In 1982 their divorce was finalized. According to John, their split was due to the work commitment which drove them to go apart. He even said that they were not mature enough to handle his fame in his documentary.

Moreover, after six years of the split with his ex-wife, John tied the knot with Australian actress Cassandra Delaney on August 12, 1988, in an intimate ceremony. However, their marital life didn't last long, and they separated in 1991 and finally divorced in 1993. 

Father, John Denver died in a Plane Crash.

On October 12, 1997, the most popular singer, John Denver, lost his life in a plane crash. Denver, an experienced pilot, crashed his plane into Monterey Bay near California. 

The accident occurred while he was making a series of touch-and-go landings at the nearby Monterey Peninsula Airport. During his death, the singer was 53-year-old, and Anna was 20-years-old.

Anna Has Two Siblings: One Brother and Little Sister

Anna has two siblings, one brother, Zachary John Denver, born May 1974, and Jesse Belle Deutschendorf, born in May 1989. Jesse is the biological child of John with his second wife, Cassandra.

All three siblings are close to each other. Anna's older brother Zak and younger sister Jesse attended the Hollywood Walk of Fame presentation ceremony for their dad in 2014.
