Who is Ayman Mohyeldin?

Ayman Mohyeldin is an Egyptian-American journalist who is working for NBC News based in Los Angeles. He is mostly known for his coverage of the Arab spring revolution and Israel- Gaza conflict. He is one of the first western journalists to focus the trial of deposed President of Iraq.

Ayan Mohyeldin was born on April 18, 1979, to an Egyptian father Medhat Mohyeldin and Palestinian mother Abla Awwad in Cairo. He holds dual nationality as he is Egyptian by birth and American as an immigrant. Further, his star sign is Aries.

Concerning family background, his father worked as an accountant in Georgia. He lived in Egypt till the age of five and migrated to the U.S. along with his older brother Ahmed Moheyeldin, who is an Ohio based neurosurgeon in Wexner Medical Center at present.

Mohyeldin went to North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia for his high school education. He then attended American University in Washinton D.C. where he earned an undergraduate degree in International Relationship. He then completed his MA in International Politics with the essence in Peace and Conflict Resolution.

Mohyeldin started his career in journalism as a desk assistant for the NBC in Washington D.C. Mohyeldin was tasked for the coverage of the intervention in the middle east regarding the investigation of 9/11.

The couple had their first baby daughter Dora Fourati Mohyeldin in New York on March 12, 2017. Both the husband-wife are enjoying their parenthood. They both keep updating their activities to social media.
