Billy Donovan

Billy Donovan is an American professional basketball coach and former NBA player. He is the head coach of the Chicago Bulls of the NBA and was the former coach of the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2015 to 2020. His success with Florida Gators is well remembered by the fans from all around the world where he earned seven Elite Eights, two NCAA Championships, and four SEC Tournament.

Billy played as a point guard during his playing career. He played for the clubs like Utah Jazz, New York Knicks, and Rapid City Thriller during his professional playing career. However, after playing 1988-89 season with Rapid City Thrillers he didn't receive any NBA offer and later joined as an assistant coach for Rick Pitino.

Married life with a wife, Christine Donovan

Roman Catholic, Donovan is a married man. He found his love of life, Christine Donovan back in 1985. It was a blind date that was set up by the couple's mutual friend. After a couple of dates and drinks, the pair got involved in a very serious relationship and decided to take their relationship one step further. 

In 1989 after dating for more than four years the pair accepted one another as husband and wife. It was the same year, Billy dropped his career as a player and started his career as a coach. The beautiful wedding was held in the Catholic church where the couple's friends and family were seen to greet the newly married pair.

Father of five children

Mr. and Mrs. Donovan is now married for more than three decades and seems very much happy with one another. The pair often got highlighted with their blissful relationship. During this long marital life, they are blessed with four children. Connor Donovan, Bryann Donovan, William Donovan III, and Hasbrouck Donovan. Their fifth child, Jacqueline was delivered stillborn in 2000. 

Son, William is an American professional coach who was listed as a guest coach for the San Antonio Spurs and is currently coaching the Saint Francis High School team. As of now, all of the children are full grown-ups and are pursuing their respective careers. Despite having a hectic schedule the family often hangouts and spend quality time on the weekend.
