Candace Sweat is an American Journalist and news reporter working for NBC 5 News. She has gained a wide range of experience from her reporting career.

Sweat belongs to African-American ethnicity, however, she has not disclosed about her parents or her early life. Her birth date is also under review. Sweat was born in Texas and holds an American nationality. She went to a local high school where she got influence to reporting.

later on, she went to the University of Texas, Arlington and earned a bachelors degree in Journalism.
