His First acting Job was in the 1969 film Wild Gypsies. In 1984 he starred in The Ice Pirates and Pee-wee's Big Adventure in 1985, Life Stinks in 1991, and The Wedding Singer in 1998.
He also acted in the 2000 made-for-TV films Goodbye Casanova with Yasmine Bleeth. Carmen's final film was in 2002 in the film Eight Crazy Nights.
