They had attempted to kidnap Gainsbourg when she was 16. She had famous parents, and the plan was to kidnap the AntiChrist actress for 5 Million Francs for ransom.

The gang had planned to take out the police officers and use the uniform as a disguise to kidnap Gainsbourg. The situation was scary for the family, and she was lucky not to have been kidnapped especially looking at the entire plan they had made. The family even hired a bodyguard to be with her at school to make sure she reached school and got home safely.

Lemon Incest was a song composed by Gainsbourg's father, Serge Gainsbourg. The song's music video showed Serge and his daughter Gainsbourg lying in bed semi-naked. This led to massive outrage at the time as people accused them of trying to normalize pedophilia and incest. 

Gainsbourg was only 13 years old at the time she did this song. The 1984 recorded song was heavily criticized when it came out and remained one of Serge's most controversial things. Gainsbourg Lost Her Father To A Heart Attack

Gainsbourg lost her father, Serge Gainsbourg to a heart attack on March 2, 1991. He was 62 years old at the time of his death. His bad smoking and alcoholic habit were blamed for the heart attack. He was a chain smoker and reportedly smoked five packs of cigarettes daily.

This wasn't Serge Gainsbourg's only heart attack because his first attack happened in May 1973. He was 45 years old at the time. Despite that, upon arrival of an ambulance, he said something that caught everyone by surprise. He wanted to use expensive Hermès blankets as he wasn't a fan of hospital blankets. Even more shocking was when it was discovered that he was smoking without anyone noticing while at the hospital. 

Serge passed away at his home. Gainsbourg's mother, Jane, who still loved him, was devastated when she heard the news. Far Out reports that Jane and her family spent three days with Serge's body, not wanting the body to be cremated.
