Chauncey Jerome Hamlin, Jr.

Chauncey Jerome Hamlin Jr. is the founder and the first president of the International council of the museum ( ICOM). He is also the founder of the Buffalo Museum of Science in Buffalo, New York.

Hamlin is the father of the American association of all museums and the biological father of famous American actor Harry Hamlin.

President of Buffalo Museum

Hamlin jr became the president of the Buffalo Society of the Museum of Natural Science from 1920 until 1948.

 He devoted all his energy to building up an organization that can foster among the museum worldwide.
