The former professional National Football League (NFL) player Wire played for the NFL teams like Buffalo Bills and Atlanta Falcons. The retired footballer Coy currently serves as a sports anchor and correspondent for the TV channel CNN.

Coy Michael Wire was born in Lemoyne, Pennsylvania, USA, on November 7, 1978, to Rick Wire (father) and Jane Wire (mother). Coy has two siblings a sister named Tiffany and a brother named Casey Wire.

Concerning education, Coy attended Highland Elementary School, Lemoyne Middle School, and later he graduated from Cedar Cliff High School in 1997. Afterward, he earned his Bachelor's degree from Stanford University.
