Don Calloway

Donald Calloway Jr. also known as Don Calloway is an American lawyer and politician and a member of Missouri House of representatives for the 71st district in St. Louis County. He won the House of Representatives Election in 2008 winninng 52 percent of the total votes in a three way race against the fierce opponents Vernon  Herlan and Rogerick Wilson. 

Details About His Childhood 

Don Calloway was born in St.Loius, Missouri on September 18, 1979 to Donell Calloway and Jonell Calloway. He did his majors in political Science and English from  Alabama A and M. After that he joined law school at Boston University and completed his graduation from there.  

In his career as the House of Representatives, he was a member of the emerging issues in Animal Agricultural Committee, general laws committee, rules committee and Tax policy Committee. He helped bring several reforms in the current taxation polices which challenged the legitimacy of the payoff and filed a lawsuit to have the corresponding bank accounts frozen.

Calloway’s efforts at winning the 2010 election in the Democratic primary for the State Senator from the 14th district became unsuccessful as he lost in the race to Maria Chappelle and Theodore Hoskins with 500 votes. He stood third in that very election. 

In addition to that, he sponsored a bill to insure the health of football altheles and even student athletes by minimizing the  long  term effects of concussions on them.
