A former model and now a real estate manager, Elizabeth Huberbeau was once married to one of the biggest names in the industry. Huberbeau's short-lived marriage with wrestler-turned-actor John Cena was her only ticket to the showbiz industry, where she briefly dabbled as a model before choosing her career in the real estate industry.  

Born on September 28, 1978, in West Newbury, Massachusetts, USA, Elizabeth completed her studies at Springfield College. While there isn't much intel on Huberdeau's life, her ex-husband, Cena, on the other hand, doesn't require an introduction.  

Cena, 46, has carved a stellar record in wrestling and acting. Having won the WWE World Championship 16 times, Cena was often deemed as the most outstanding wrestler of all time. He later branched his career into acting and garnered the reputation of a bankable actor. His acting credits include Trainwreck, Bumblebee, and The Suicide Squad.

It has been over a decade since Elizabeth Huberdeau and Cena quietly ended their marital ties, yet fans are still digging into the duo's long-dissolved marriage. Elizabeth's recent surprise emergence on the internet has everyone talking about her and her linkage to Cena.   

Huberdeau herself doesn't seem to be on social media, but somehow, rare pictures of her posing in provocative and sultry attires have been making rounds on various pages. Huberdeau appears to be estranged entirely from John's life, but there was a time when the two were inseparable.    

Elizabeth met the Trainwreck star as a kid. They go way back in their connection as both Elizabeth and Cena were raised in the same neighborhood and attended the same high school.   

The twosome went on to attend the same college, Springfield College, where Huberdeau pursued a major in business communication, and Cena studied exercise physiology and body movement. The pair tied the knot on July 11, 2009- only to part ways three years later in 2012.

Although Cena has never once spoken about his relationship with Huberdeau, the real estate manager was once a huge part of the actor's life. Huberdeau stood with Cena like a rock when the latter ventured into the wrestling industry and later into the film business without any connection.   

Cena had just launched his acting career when he announced his engagement with Huberdeau in 2009. The Suicide Squad actor was promoting his second film, 12 Rounds, produced by WWE Studious, and during the occasion, the wrestler-turned-actor made the surprise revelation.  

Because Cena wasn't as Hollywood-famous as he is today, his relationship with Huberdeau wasn't widely covered. The then-loved-up couple followed their engagement with an intimate wedding ceremony in July 2009 in Boston, Massachusetts.    

Huberdeau and Cena were married for three years! 

The couple could have gone down in history as an enduring couple whose relationship stood the test of time and fame, but sadly, they parted ways as Cena's career began to reach new heights. In 2012, the Bumblebee actor made the first move and filed for divorce.  

As per reports at the time, tensions were brewing between the spouses towards the end of their marriage, and it was just a matter of time before one of them pulled the plug. Huberdeau was said to be "blindsided" when Cena filed to end their three-year-long marriage.   

Cena later cited his reasons, but according to Huberdeau, John had been messing around with another woman, which prompted the actor to end his marriage with her. Things between the two could've gotten nasty as Elizabeth tried to challenge the duo's prenup in an angst.  

Elizabeth's then-divorce attorney, Raymond Rafool, later cleared that the estranged duo had decided to bury the hatchet. "All matters [in the divorce] have been settled and resolved amicably," the official statement read.  

Huberdeau's ex-husband later shared that he couldn't fully commit to his marriage because his career always came first for him. "I have made [WWE] my absolute life. I don't have a family. I tried marriage once, and I realized my WWE marriage was the one that would survive," said the actor, who started dating wrestler Nikki Bella a year after his divorce.   

Huberdeau was reportedly paid a staggering amount to settle things privately with the WWE wrestler. Some sources believed that the real estate manager received a whopping $55 million from Cena to walk out of his life quietly.  

There were rumors that Cena swiftly handled what could've been a messy divorce so that he could move on to his relationship with Bella, whom he famously dated and got engaged to before calling it off in 2018. While Huberdeau has wholly disappeared from the public eye since the divorce, her ex-husband, Cena, 46, is happily married to Shay Shariatzadeh.
