Emilie Ullerup

The star of the TV series Sanctuary and Chesapeake Shore, Emilie Ullerup, is also a tumor warrior. She has made multiple television and movie appearances throughout the years.

Emilie was born on October 27, 1984, in Copenhagen, Denmark, to mother Bodil Morkov Ullerup and father Ove Ullerup-Petersen as Emilie Ullerup-Petersen. She attended a private high school in Copenhagen in 2003. After which she enrolled at the Vancouver Film School in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She also has two siblings Caroline, and Simone Ullerup.

Emilie's Marital Life With Kyle Cassie 

The actress is a married woman. She is sharing her marital life with her beloved Canadian husband Kyle Cassie. Ullerup's spouse Cassie is a filmmaker, director. They are together since 2007.

On December 13, 2019, Emilie shared a picture with her hubby captioning, 

There is no right way to do love. We moved in together after only a few months. It felt right and it didn’t feel rushed. Then we spent 8 years together before we got married.  We have been together for 12 years and only now are we having our first child. We couldn’t have imagined doing it any sooner."

As per her post, the couple is in a marital relationship since 2015. Later in another post in 2019, she explained that the couple was married in a courthouse without anyone's presence. 

On the big day, Emilie wore a white and pink strap dress, and Kyle dashes the wedding look wearing a blue tuxedo. Since the wedding day, the husband-wife duo is sharing a healthy bond as a perfect married partner.

Have a Baby Together

Emilie and Kyle are blessed with a baby boy. She announced her pregnancy on October 3, 2019, via her social media. The couple looked ready to pop at the time of the post.

On February 2, 2020, Ullerup posted a picture of her newborn on Instagram. Their baby boy Wilde Mørkøv Ullerup Cassie, was born on January 24, 2020. As of now, the 1-year-old Wilde is living blissfully with his renowned parents.

The actress Emilie started her career as Julia Brynn on the remake of Battlestar Galactica in 2006. She also had a significant role in the TV show Sanctuary where she played Ashley Magnus. She worked at the show for two years, and her departure was a topic of debate among the fans.

In 2016 she started playing the main role of Bree O'Brien in the TV show Chesapeake Shores on the Hallmark Channel, and the show is still going on. She also made appearances in shows such as Supernatural, True Justice, Arctic Air, and Almost Human, to name a few.

In 2009 Emilie faced the biggest challenge of her life. It was found that a tumor was wrapping itself at the bottom of her spine. The tumor was supposedly posed no threat at the time but could be a problem later on.

The tumor had to be removed surgically along with her tail bone. It took her five months to recover from the surgery and get back to what she loved doing.
