Ernestine also accepted her proposal happily. Although the duo was in a blissful romantic relationship, they were not living together in the same city. For the first ten-years of the relationship, she lived in NYC and he was working and living in Connecticut. They used to meet every Friday either in NYC or in Connecticut.

Later, from 2016, both Ernestine & Skip began living in Los Angeles, after he starts working at Fox Sports 1. Not only that, but the couple also tied the wedding knot on July 28, 2016.
