Jennifer Garner's highly publicized love life only constitutes of long-term and committed relationships, proving that the beloved actress, unlike her fellow Hollywood peers, doesn't believe in dating for fun. Garner's first public dating experience was with her co-star, Scott Foley.  

The pair met on the sets of the 1998 drama Felicity. Smitten in love, the pair's whirlwind romance escalated quickly, and the pair got hitched on October 19, 2000, in an intimate ceremony. Love fizzled out sooner than anyone could have anticipated and the duo's marriage had unraveled by 2003.   

"We were full-on grown-ups, but looking back I'm aware we did not know what hit us," the 13 Going on 30 actress said of her marriage with Scott, who she called a "great guy." She added, "We didn't have a shot. He's a really good guy, and we just imploded."   

Shortly after her divorce from Foley, the Texas-born actress embroiled in another romance with her co-star. She started dating her Alias love interest, Michael Vartan in 2003. The new love birds' relationship lasted almost a year, with the couple calling it quit in 2005. Both Vartan and Garner spoke in awe of each other and asserted that there were no hard feelings. 

Garner's relationship with Ben Affleck is considered one of the most publicized affairs in Hollywood. The couple met on the sets of their 2001 flick, Pearl Harbour, and connected while working in Daredevil in 2003. The Oscar-winning actor had just walked out of his high-profile relationship with Jennifer Lopez when he and Garner made their relationship official in 2004.

Affleck proposed to Garner in April 2005 and the pair tied the knot in June 2005. During their ten-year-long nuptial, the duo welcomed three kids, Violet, 17, Seraphina, 14, and Samuel, 11. "We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children," the duo's statement read as they announced their split in 2015.    

The pair made a few attempts to reconcile for the sake of their kids and finally finalized their divorce in 2018. Despite their said amicable split, Affleck dissed his ex-wife during his 2021 interview on The Howard Stern Show, where he called his marriage with Garner a trap. The actor went as far as blaming his marriage for his addiction.

The quest for love goes on. After Garner finalized her divorce from the Gone Girl actor, who is now married to his ex-flame, Lopez, in 2018, she began dating businessman John Miller. The pair have been on and off since then. The Juno actress is yet to call Miller the one but as per sources, the twosome's ship is sailing smoothly.  

Garner and Miller's dating rumors first hit the headline a few days after her divorce. An insider said that the actress wants to move on with her life and is open to dating. The source alleged that Garner's first priority is her three kids and is ready to explore the dating pool.  

The reports moved on from "not serious" to "exclusive scenario" within a year, with the love birds making their relationship official at the musical Dear Evan Hansen in November 2019. By early 2020, Garner and John had seemingly ended their hush-hush romance as the actress implied her single status on social media.   

The couple rekindled their romance a year later in August 2021. Several public appearances of the pair enjoying cozy dates kept coming within the next few months, but the two kept mum about where their relationship was going. An insider gave an insight into their romance earlier this year.  

"They have a very special relationship," the source shared, adding, "They took a long break from dating, but Jen is very happy that they are back together." Although not much is known about Jen's on-off beau, Miller reportedly serves as the CEO of CaliBurger and is also an attorney.
