Inside Kurt Russell's unconventional personal life: The actor has been married and divorced once!  

Known for his roles in The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Now You See Him, Now You Don't, The Strongest Man in the World, and Silkwood, Kurt Russell is an actor who catapulted to massive stardom decades ago. He may not boast the most illustrious career among the host of Hollywood leading men, but Russell's string of memorable performances continues to this day.  

Born on March 17, 1951, in Springfield, Massachusetts, to actor Bing Russell, and dancer Louise Russell, his venture in the acting world started as a side hobby. Kurt would play league baseball throughout his early years and dabble in acting in the off-season. It wasn't until an unprecedented injury ended his sports career and brought the young star closer to his plan b.  

Is Kurt Russell Married?   

Russell, at 72, is not married or engaged, and yet the Emmy-nominated boasts one of Hollywood's most enduring relationships. Russell and his longtime partner, actress Goldie Hawn, have been together for over 40 years. The pair's longstanding relationship serves as a beacon of small hope in an industry filled with futile connections, and broken families.   

Russell and Hawn first crossed paths on the sets of the 1968 live-action movie musical The One and Only, Genuine, Original Family Band. Though the two left a strong first impression on each other, it certainly wasn't love at first sight. In fact, seventeen years went by before the duo could connect again and embark on their unconventional, yet lifelong relationship.  

The Elvis actor and Hawn started dating officially in 1983 while filming the 1984 romantic drama Swing Shift. The twosome has since welcomed kids of their own, blended the kids they have with their previous partners, and even welcomed grandkids, all while, continuing their onscreen chemistry on numerous projects.   

The iconic couple even received their Hollywood Walk of Fame honor together in 2017. As described by Goldie, the Walk of Fame commemoration was indeed a "love fest", with Russell cherishing his lady love in the sweetest way. "To you, I owe my wonderful life," Kurt said to Hawn in his speech. He further added, "There's no one else I'd rather be next to for all of that than Goldie Hawn."  

Despite being in an enduring and unproblematic relationship, Russell and Hawn have constantly dealt with the same question over the years- why are they not tying the knot if what they have is so perfect? The twosome have put forth their reasons several times and yet, here they are stating their reasons again.    

The couple has no intention of tying the knot in the future! 

Goldie was recently asked the question again during her conversation with CNN's Chris Wallace. The actress explained why she and Russell are better off as an unmarried couple. "Because we had been married, And because when it doesn't work out, it ends up being a big business," said the actress, who has been married and divorced twice.  

Kurt's partner, Hawn, 78, was married to actor Gus Trikonis, from 1969 to 1976. She shares two kids, Oliver, and Kate Hudson, with her second ex-husband, musician Bill Hudson. Hawn is best known for her roles in Cactus Flower, which won her an Academy Award, Wildcats, Private Benjamin, Overboard, Foul Play, and more.

Besides being a stellar actor and the perfect partner to Hawn, Russell is also a doting father and a grandfather. The former child actor's brood consists of four kids, the eldest two being Oliver, and Kate, who are Hawn's kids from her second marriage, followed by Boston, Russell's son from his marriage with Season Hubley, and Wyatt, whom Kurt and Goldie welcomed in 1986.   

Kurt and Hawn's oldest, Oliver, 47, is an accomplished actor. Some of his notable credits include Rules of Engagement, Nashville, Splitting Up Together, and The Cleaning Lady. Kurt, who married Erinn Bartlett in 2006, and welcomed three kids with her, says that for him, Kurt and Hawn's relationship was an inspiration. 

The Russell-Hawn clan's second oldest, Kate, 44, is also a fan of her parents' relationship. "Mom is kinetic and she is a butterfly, and Pa likes his family and his home. But when they're together, it's so powerful," Kate shared. Kate is undoubtedly the best-known of the duo's brood.   

The Academy-nominated actress role in Almost Famous alone has won her legion of fans across the globe. Kate's other memorable works include How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days, Music, Bride Wars, and many more. Kurt and Goldie have three grandkids from Kate, who shares Ryder Robinson with ex-husband Chris Robinson. 

The Almost Famous alum shares a son, Bingham, with ex-boyfriend singer Matt Bellamy, and her youngest, daughter Rani Rose, with her current fiancé Danny Fujikawa. Kurt's third kid, Boston, 43, is known for being notoriously private. Over the years, the guy has also made a handful of red-carpet appearances, alongside his famous parents.   

Kurt and Hawn's youngest, Wyatt, 37, is also an actor. Wyatt rose to fame after starring in 22 Jump Street and has kept up his good work, appearing in flicks such as The Woman in the Window, Folk Hero & Funny Guy, and Blaze. Wyatt shares a son with his second wife, Meredith Hagner, whom he married in 2019. The actor was briefly married to stylist Sanne Hamers, from 2012 to 2017.
