It has been more than a decade since Taylor Lautner experienced groundbreaking success as the shapeshifter Jacob Black in the Twilight series and yet, the guy still pops up on headlines every now and then. Lautner rose to fame as a child star when he landed a starring role in The Adventures of Sharkboy and Lavagirl as a 12-year-old.  

He deliberately took a step back from the razzle-dazzle world of Hollywood after being hailed as a teen idol, sex symbol, and other flattering titles that came with sweeping fame. Since the last Twilight flick in 2012, Lautner has appeared in only a handful of projects but the Teen Choice Award winner is happier than ever.

Taylor Lautner is married to Taylor Lautner (nee Dome). The Taylor couple is an adored couple on Instagram, with the loved-up duo often entertaining their millions of fans with their quirky dance moves and enviable chemistry. The Twilight alum first met Dome when he was on an acting hiatus.  

Lautner credits his sister, Makena Moore, for introducing him to his now-wife. The former teen idol couldn't be more thankful for his life as he says, "I wanted to take a step back and enjoy life and spend some time with my family and friends. And I met my fiancée out of it, so it all worked out."  

The Taylor couple went Instagram official in late 2018 and started serving relationship goals from there on. The Twilight actor and Dome dated for nearly three years and in November 2021, Lautner broke the hearts of many Jacob stans as he proposed to Dome. "And just like that, all of my wishes came true," the actor wrote as he posted a string of snaps of themselves.  

The couple tied the knot in a picturesque ceremony at a winery in California, on November 11, 2022. The duo's dreamy nuptial was followed by their honeymoon in Mexico. Taylor and his wife, who changed her last name to Lautner, debuted their podcast, The Squeeze, earlier this year.  

The Taylor Lautner couple might be in the very early stage of their marital bliss, but the pair are definitely an endgame. The loved-up spouses, who share a matching tattoo, recently shared an adorable moment with Lautner's famous ex, Taylor Swift. The couple joined Swift on her July 7 Eras Show in Kansas City, and later, the three Taylor re-created the viral Spider-Man meme.

The Run the Tide actor's wife, Taylor, is only related to the movie world via her husband. She is a registered nurse and a mental health advocate. Taylor often thanks her husband for supporting her throughout her schooling. "Thank you for all the meals you'd make me when I was too busy studying," Taylor wrote in an emotional post.

The Twilight fame met his most famous ex, Taylor Swift while filming Valentine's Day in 2008. The duo's romance lasted only a year and Swift reportedly broke Lautner's heart in December 2009. Swift laments her heartache and regret in her hitmaker, Back to December,  a song everyone knows is dedicated to Lautner.   

The estranged couple has since kept a cordial bond and looking at the duo's recent reunion, it goes on without saying that Lautner is Swift's favorite ex. The actor, alongside Joey King, even made a cameo in Swift's recently released, I Can See You mv.  

Swift isn't the only A-lister that Lautner dated in the past. The former teen idol's first A-list girlfriend happens to be Swift's BFF, Selena Gomez, who confessed to their romance, and revealed how it ended within a few months. "He is so sweet," Gomez said, adding, "Taylor has made me so happy. I didn't know I could be that happy."   

Lautner was also linked with the Pretty Little Liars star, Ashley Benson, from 2012 to 2013. The pair, who shared the same agent at some point, were spotted on a number of dates. The fan-favorite actor also romanced English actress Lily Collins in 2011. The duo met while working on their 2011 film, Abduction.  

Lautner's rumored flames also include actress Maika Monroe, with whom he was linked in 2013. Canadian actress Marie Avgeropoulos was another beauty who Lautner courted during his peak stardom. The duo reportedly dated for nearly two years before breaking up in 2015.   

Taylor's last flame before he went on a hiatus and found Dome was Billie Lourd, famously known as actress Carrie Fisher's daughter. The couple met on the set of Scream Queens in 2016 and dated for almost a year.
