Early Life

Giannis was born in Athens, Greece, on December 6, 1994. His parents Veronica Antetokounmpo (mother) and Charles Antetokounmpo (father) were immigrants from Nigeria to Greece. 

Giannis has two elder brothers Francis Antetokounmpo, Thanasis Antetokounmpo (b. 1992), and two younger brothers named Kostas (b. 1997) and Alex Antetokounmpo (b. 2001).

Like Giannis, his all four siblings are the member of the NBA teams. His second older brother Thanasis also plays for Milwaukee Bucks. Similarly, Kostas plays for the Los Angeles Lakers. Likewise, their youngest brother Alexa is teamed up with UCAM Murcia of the Spanish Liga ACB.
