Greg McHugh is a writer and actor from Scotland, mostly famous for starring and writing Gary: Tank Commander (a BBC 1 comedy series). McHugh is also renowned for his appearance in the Channel 4 comedy show, Fresh Meat as Howard.

While McHugh was talking about his anxiety at the Scottish Parliament's Festival of Politics saying, 

''I had gone through something I had no history of before. I just wanted to go and say to people: 'If you're feeling a bit rubbish, I have felt a bit rubbish too, I'm feeling great now.' I know what the warning signals are.''

The prominent writer and actor first joined St. Thomas of Aquinas' High School. Later he learned the business at the University of Stirling. Meanwhile, he also took training at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.

Soon after completing his training, Greg kicked off his acting career when he appeared on screen in the television series, Still Game. 

In 2010, McHugh portrayed in the English sitcom How Not to Live Your Life on the episode titled Don the Musical.

The following year, McHugh portrayed in the Fresh Meat aired via Channel 4, where he described as Howard till 2016.
