Greg McHugh is a writer and actor from Scotland, mostly famous for starring and writing Gary: Tank Commander (a BBC 1 comedy series). McHugh is also renowned for his appearance in the Channel 4 comedy show, Fresh Meat as Howard.
The Scottish actor and writer were born on 5th January 1980 in Edinburgh, Scotland, where another actor Matthew McNulty was also born. Born to his Scottish parents, he is of White ethnicity and holds Scottish nationality.

''I had gone through something I had no history of before. I just wanted to go and say to people: 'If you're feeling a bit rubbish, I have felt a bit rubbish too, I'm feeling great now.' I know what the warning signals are.''
Currently, McHugh seems to be better than before and keen to impart to others who are suffering from mental stress via relationships, exam stress, social pressures, and sexuality.
The prominent writer and actor first joined St. Thomas of Aquinas' High School. Later he learned business at the University of Stirling. Meanwhile, he also took training at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama.
Soon after completing his training, Greg kicked off his acting career when he appeared on screen in the television series, Still Game.
In 2010, McHugh portrayed in the English sitcom How Not to Live Your Life on the episode titled Don the Musical.
