Anderson .Paak is a musician whose talents knows no boundaries. The multi-hyphenated star, who is an accomplished drummer, singer, rapper, songwriter, and record producer, has been on the acclaimed side of the fame since his career started taking off in 2017. Paak is widely known as one half of the super duo, Silk Sonic, the other member being Bruno Mars. 

In the last five years, Paak has won a total of eight Grammys, making him one of the most decorated contemporary artists. Anderson had started his professional musical journey in 2013 and a year later, the African American and Korean mixed crooner had launched his debut album, Venice, and earned a legion of fans, courtesy of his collaborations with Dr. Dre, and Jhené Aiko.

Anderson is navigating a crisis in his personal life as his longstanding marriage with Jaylyn Chang comes to an end. Anderson's now-estranged wife, Chang, was his rock for a long time, standing by him through his rigorous and illustrious journey to success.   

Paak and Jaylyn may not be together anymore, but the couple lived over a decade of their as husband and wife and welcomed two kids, Soul Rasheed, and Shine Tariq, over the course of their relationship. The Leave the Door Open hitmaker met Jaylyn, who is also a musician, during his early days working as a teaching assistant at a music school.  

Anderson and Jaylyn's Korean roots and their shared penchant for music were enough to ignite a spark between the two. The pair tied the knot in 2011 after Jaylyn got pregnant with their firstborn. "When I got pregnant, it just happened," said Chang in a rare interview. The newly married started their conjugal journey in some torrid times.  

The rapper once recalled how the couple suffered from financial woes for a long time, and at a point, they even battelled homelessness. Anderson and Chang saw better days after the rapper rose to groundbreaking fame in 2015.  

While crediting Jaylyn for always having his back, and supporting his dreams, Paak said, "She was never like you should stop doing something other than music." Fans have been left baffled, witnessing a couple as resilient as Anderson and Jaylyn end their 13-year-long marriage.  

This isn't the first time the Grammy winner's marriage has unraveled. Many aren't familiar with it, but Chang is Anderson's second wife. The Silk Sonic singer was briefly married to an unidentified woman in his early 20s.

Anderson pulled the plug on his enduring marriage in January. The singer reportedly cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason behind their split. He has asked the court for joint legal and physical custody of their two sons, and also, requested to terminate court's power to award spousal support in their case.   

While known for being consciously private about their personal life, Paak rarely provided fans any private intel. The rapper continued to maintain the same attitude as he refrains from divulging anything more than the basics.

There might not be much information about .Paak's now-estranged wife, Jaylyn Chang, but we know for a fact that she was Anderson's ride or die for a long time. The Silk Sonic crooner's career has reached staggering heights over the last two decades, but Chang has rarely stood with him in the spotlight.   

Jaylyn is reportedly a gospel singer and sings in a gospel rock group. The Leave the Door Open crooner once touched on Chang's journey from Korea. "She is the one who came from Korea, didn't speak any English. She is the one who has the balls," said Anderson.  

Chang doesn't seem to be on any social media platforms and rarely appeared in Anderson's feed, but the couple's older son, Soul, often shines in the limelight with the multiple Grammy winner. The duo's son has shared the stage with the singer numerous times; one time on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and in Anderson's mv, Tints.

Anderson is moving on and we have to too. Just days after the news of his divorce surfaced, the Silk Sonic star was spotted getting hot and heavy with Dutch singer Sterre Marith Tapilatu, who is 13 years younger than .Paak. The two were spotted holding hands and acting lovey-dovey in Puerto Vallarta on the weekend after he filed for divorce.  

It is unknown how long the new love birds have been dating for and fans have been rightly suspecting infidelity on Anderson's part, given how fast the singer jumped from his unraveled marriage. "The door was wide open, not cracked," tweeted a disgruntled fan while mocking Anderson's behavior.
