Silverman was born on August 5, 1966, in Los Angeles, California. He was born in a Jewish family to father Hillel Emanuel Silverman and mother Devora Silverman. Further, Jonathan is the grandson of Conservative leader Rabbi Morris Silverman. His mother is from Jerusalem and lived there since its establishment.

After dating over half a year, Silverman proposed his lady love in a rain forest in New Zealand. Similarly, a year and a half later, Jonathan and Finnigan went on a vacation to the exotic Mykonos in Greece. The couple planned for their much-hyped wedding which shortly happened the next year on June 7, 2007.

The love birds exchanged their wedding vows in a rented seaside villa on Kanalia Bay in Mykonos. The bride and groom called the wedding to be a gorgeous, rustic and bohemian. The bride requested the guests to show up in white or cream attire to complement the beauty of the place.

Besides, the wedding was incredibly personal and intimate Greek styled wedding with the names of female guests on the bottom of her shoes, In fact, the couple also broke plates as per the Greek tradition.

Following to their much-adored marriage, the hubby-wife conceived their first baby daughter Ella Jack (not to be confused with Brooke Payne's sister Ella), who was born on September 2017. They are having a good time nurturing their baby child. We wish them a happy future.
