Suzette currently is an actress and the manager of the Selena Museum. She is also the CEO and president of her family's music production company, Q Productions. The 53-year-old, Quintanilla married her husband, Bill Arriaga on September 12, 1993. Jovan is their only child.

Suzette, her brother, Abraham III, and sister, Selena formed a band, Selena y Los Dinos. After Selena was shot and killed, the Quintanilla family was devastated. On March 31, 1995, Selena confronted Yolanda and demanded financial records. They had met in Yolanda's motel room at the Days Inn in Corpus Christi. During the confrontation, Yolanda took out her gun and shot at Selena's right lower shoulder.

Unfortunately, Selena died upon arrival at Corpus Christi Memorial Hospital. Talking about Yolanda, she will be eligible for parole on March 30, 2025.
