Julia Savage came to prominence as the wife of Adam Savage. Adam is an American actor, TV personality, producer, and special effects designer. 

He is widely recognized as the co-host of the TV series Unchained Reaction and MythBusters of Discovery Channel. His model work has been displayed in various major movies, including Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones and The Matrix Reloaded. 

Successful host Adam was born on 15th July 1967 in New York City, United States. He was born to his father, Whitney Lee Savage, who was a filmmaker, animator, and painter who is well known for his work on Sesame Street and Avampato Discovery Museum. 

His mother, Karen Savage, is a psychotherapist. He has one younger sister and two older sisters. 

Moreover, Savage graduated from Tisch School of the Arts and later received an honorary doctorate from the University of Twente.
