Justin Webb is a British journalist, well known as an employee for the BBC since 1984. He is also popular as a former main co-presenter of BBC One's Breakfast News program and editor for BBC North America.

Justin Webb was born on 3rd January 1961 in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, where another BBC journalist Wendy Hurrell was born. Born to his English parents, Peter Woods and Gloria Crocombe, Webb is of White ethnicity and holds British nationality. Webb spent most of his childhood in Bath.

On an article in the Radio Times in 2011, Webb mentioned that his father was Peter Woods former reporter with the Daily Mirror and later worked as a BBC newsreader. Woods married and Webb's mother Gloria Crocombe, who was a former secretary at the Daily Mirror and separated from her first spouse when she was dating Woods.

Talking about his education, he joined Sidcot School located in Somerset. Later attended the London School of Economics.

After his graduation, Justin began his career working at the BBC as a graduate trainee in 1984 serving in Northern Ireland for BBC Radio Ulster. Later, he began serving as a presenter for BBC News based. Moreover, Justin also worked as the main presenter on BBC One's Breakfast News program.

Additionally, from 1997-1998, Webb appeared as the news presenter for the BBC's One and Six O' Clock News bulletins and BBC Radio 4's The World Tonight. In 2001, Justin shifted to the United States of America, as the BBC's chief Washington correspondent. 

He spent most of the time on local Washington Radio, most notably, WAMU, a public radio station. In 2007, Webb served as the North American Editor for BBC News, the post was newly made during the time for the 2008 American presidential election.

Furthermore, Justin replaced Matt Frei who shifted to work as a presenter for the new World News America bulletin.

Justin Webb is a married man. Webb married his long-term girlfriend Sarah Gordon in early 2000. However, there is no exact information about the wedding venue and ceremony.

In 2009, Justin came back to Britain with his spouse and kids. Currently, the family resides in Camberwell, South London. Unfortunately, In 2008, Webb's mother, Gloria, passed away and he inherited her home in Bath, Somerset.
