Katelyn Faber is an aspiring American actress who has appeared in reality shows such as American Idol. However, she became the center of attraction when she alleged basketball star Kobe Bryant in 2003 of sexual assault.

Katelyn Faber Accused Kobe Bryant

Katelyn and late Kobe Bryant met back in 2003 in Colorado. The former NBA star was there for his knee surgery, staying at Cordillera hotel where Katelyn was working. 

The Eagle's sheriff's office arrested Bryant following Faber, who was 19 at the time, accused of sexual assault. She told the police that Bryant raped her in his hotel room the night prior to his scheduled surgery.

Bryant admitted that a sexual encounter took place between him and Kately; however, he strongly denied that he raped her or in any way forced her into it. 

The incident caused Bryant to lose various endorsement contracts, and his spouse, Vanessa Bryant, filed for divorce a couple of years later.

Nevertheless, the case was dropped when Katelyn denied testifying in the court against Bryant in September 2004. Afterward, she issued Bryant a public apology.

Katelyn Faber was born on 18th June 1985 in Colorado, United States. She holds an American nationality and is of white ethnic background. She4 is the daughter of Paul Louis Faber and Kristine Ann Faber. Besides, there is no information about her other family members.
