Brooke Hogan's last name is enough to establish her big-time status. The daughter of wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan, is back in the headlines after a long time. And yes, you guessed it right, it's because of her personal endeavor that recently came to light.  

Born on May 5, 1988, to Hulk and his first wife, Linda Claridge, a television personality, Brooke followed in the footsteps of the latter. She has been a notable force in the reality television, starring in Hogan Know the Best, its spin-off, Brooke Knows the Best, and more. Brooke was once an up-and-coming singer, but it has been a long time since she has released a single.  

Is Brooke Hogan Secretly Married?   

Brooke was secretly married for more than a year, but the exciting news is finally out. Who knew the reality star had it in her. The Hogans Know the Best star recently took to her Instagram and announced her relationship after TMZ spilled the beans on Hogan's long-kept secret.   

"Brooke is a married woman... and has been so for over a year," the tabloid said while sharing a picture of Brooke walking down the aisle with her husband, Steven Oleksy. The reality star-turned-singer, instead of keeping mum, confirmed the headline, and gushed about her hubby in a lengthy caption.   

"A rare sighting of the husband. We like to keep to ourselves, but somehow the news is out," Brooke wrote before lovingly introducing her husband. "So here he is, people: The kindest, sweetest badass you'll ever meet. I'm really lucky. God did me a solid on this one," Hogan wrote.  

The man of the hour, Hogan's husband, Steven, who has since been garnering a massive attention, left a sweet comment under his wife's post. "You have taught me so much on what 'real' means and what truly matters in life. I love you," read Oleksy's comment.   

The news come not long after Brooke's family stirred a media commotion as to why she didn't attend her father's third wedding. Hulk married his third bride, Sky Daily, in September 2023, and his only daughter wasn't in attendance. Brooke later explained the reason was the ever-changing family dynamics.  

What to Know Brooke Hogan's Husband?  

Sports enthusiasts are surely familiar with Brooke's husband but to most, his name probably poses many questions. Steven Oleksy is not a no-Namer, in fact, the guy is a professional ice-hockey player.   

Oleksy, a native of Chesterfield Township, Michigan, has been playing as a defenseman for Orlando Solar Bears in the ECHL since 2021. He previously has brief stints in NHL's Washington Capitals, and Pittsburgh Penguins.  

Now that Steven and Brooke's secret marriage is out in the open, more info on the duo's love story is coming out, starting from their meet-cute, to hush-hush wedding. The ice-hockey player and the wrestling legend's daughter reportedly met via mutual friends. The pair secretly tied the knot in June 2022, in Orlando, Florida.

Brooke Hogan has been Engaged Once!  

Although widely associated with her superstar father, Brooke is nothing like her father Hulk Hogan, who has been married three times. The Brooke Knows the Best star's dating history doesn't divulge a string of names. It seems that Brooke has only ever dated with an intention of forever in the sight.   

Before Steven, with whom her marriage is relatively recent, Brooke wasn't dating anyone, not publicly at least. The last time she was in the news for her love life was in 2013 when she announced her engagement with Phil Costa, a former NFL star. 

"I am marrying my best friend. I wouldn't choose anyone else. I am so lucky and so grateful," Brooke wrote at the time as she gave fans a glimpse of the dreamy moment. But a few months into her betrothal bliss and the two had already called it quits.  

The Reason Behind Brooke Hogan and Phil Costa's Split!  

In November 2013, four months after the pair announced their engagement, several sources informed that Brooke and Costa had called off their engagement. An insider shared that the reality star and the NFL player had went separate weeks ago and that Brooke had moved out to be closer with her mom.   

Citing her career as the reason behind her split from Costa, Brooke got away from the pressing questions for a while, but it was only a matter of time before the world started discussing her private life. The real reason Brooke had to call off her future with Costa was her father, who confessed breaking up his daughter's engagement.  

"I love the Dallas Cowboys," Hulk said before spitting out a ridiculous argument. He adds, "My daughter was engaged to one of those guys and he didn't walk-the-walk and talk-the-talk. There was no way my daughter was going to marry somebody that I don't like." No wonder Brooke has had a tough relationship with Hulk and is no longer in touch with him.
