Laren Poole is an American entrepreneur and film director who is widely known for his non-profit organization Invisible Children Inc

Laren was born in 1984, in the United States of America, where another entrepreneur Pierre Omidyar was also born. Born to his American parents, he is of White ethnicity and holds an American nationality. There is no further information about his early life.

A young entrepreneur is a married man just like Wes Moore. Poole and his wife, Courtney first met in 2003, when Courtney joined the Invisible Inc as an intern. As said by his spouse, the pair started having deep conversations and ended up dating.

Throughout Courtney's internship, the couple had a long-distance relationship for three years. When her school was finished, Laren and Courtney exchanged her wedding vows in October 2009.

From 2012, Laren and his wife moved from California to Uganda, Africa, as Laren had a new job at Bridgeway Foundation. Since then, the pair is staying together; however, they do not share any child yet.

In 2003, when Laren, along with his friends, traveled to Africa to make a documentary film about War in Darfur. His friends included Bobby Bailey and Jason Russell, who graduated via the University of Southern California.

When the team was on shooting, they saw shooters shoot at the truck on the way to Uganda. Following the incident, Poole and his friends decided to focus on the civil war on the region. 

After they completed the documentary, the group of youngsters exposed everything they witnessed in Uganda, which led to Laren and the team to form an organization named Invisible Children Inc in 2004

Since then, Invisible Children Inc is selling t-shirts, bracelets, posters, and many more to raise donations for humanitarian aid and awareness films.

Laren and his fellow members filmed a documentary movie that exposes the human rights misused by Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda.

The movie was first premiered on 22nd June 2004 at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice at the University of San Diego. Since then, the Invisible Children Inc managed to host more than 9000 screenings at colleges.
