Actress and singer Lea Michele is set to become a first-time mom.

The 33 years old Broadway-bred actress and her one-year husband, Zandy Reich, are expecting their first child, after three years of togetherness. This happy news was confirmed by the People magazine, with a source adding that they always wanted to be parents.

Meanwhile, further information, such as the due date of the infant, gender, and Michele's baby bump is not available. However, in early 2020, when Lea became pregnant in real life, her character Rachel Berry of the Fox show Glee also got pregnant. Isn't it such a coincidence? 

In the series, the character of Michele was the surrogate for Blaine Anderson and Kurt Hummel. Blaine's role was played by actor Darren Criss while Chris Colfer played the character of Kurt.

In the previous summer of July 2017, Lea and entrepreneur Zandy's romantic relationship blossomed. Reich, 37, had purposed to Lea in April 2018 with a 4-carat diamond ring. "They couldn't be happier," a source claimed at that time.

The lovebirds finally walked down the aisle in Northern California at an intimate ceremony on 8 March 2019. The couple explained, "We are so excited to be married and grateful to be surrounded by our friends and family”.

Nearly 200 guests were there for their ceremony including Darren Criss and Becca Tobin. Also her Scream Queens costar Emma Roberts attended. Likewise, the couple heart-warming wedding event was officiated by Murphy.

During the day, the bride wore a white custom strapless silk wedding gown  which was designed by fashion designer Monique Lhuillier while the 37-year-old Reich bride wore blue casual suits. The newlyweds then jetted off onto a tropical honeymoon after two weeks of wedlocks.

Michele who made her New Year's Eve (2011) feature film debut had previously dated to her Glee co-star, Corey Monteith. Tragically, on 13 July 2013, he passed away due to overdose of alcohol and heroin.
