Leeya Eliana Shapiro

Leeya Eliana Shapiro is an American Celebrity kid who came to fame just after her birth with a silver spoon. She is the firstborn baby of renowned American conservative political commentator, a nationally syndicated columnist Ben Shapiro and his wife, Mor Shapiro.

Ben Shapiro's daughter, Leeya Eliana was born on the 28th of January 2014 at 6:19 p.m. PST. At the time of the birth, she was a 7-pound, 9-ounce, 21-inch child who was suffering from a disease.

Born With A Disease

A lovely girl Leeya had a congenital heart disease atrial septal defect right after her birth in 2014. Some symptoms of the disease include tiredness, bluish skin, and reduced weight in infants. Thus, Eliana underwent open-heart surgery at Little Angels Children's Hospital in 2015.

Well, the cardiac surgeon was one of the accomplished cardiac surgeons at the same hospital who treated the son of Jimmy Kimmel. 

Ben criticized Jimmy on his podcast, saying that he advocated Obamacare. He went on to slam the talk show host for using his personal situation to promulgate public policy.

After the operation, Eliana recovered from the severe health issue and is enjoying her childhood with her younger brother. Eliana's younger brother was born in 2016 named David Shapiro, but the personal details of Ben's youngest child are kept a secret. 

Overwhelmed Letter by Dad

Within six days of her birth, father Shapiro wrote a letter to her, by taking permission from Leeya's mother. He wrote in the letter that he was pleased and grateful to God that he and his wife had such a beautiful daughter in their lives.

Daddy, Ben, included that she is the best thing they have ever had. He further said their late-night feedings and the lack of sleep were worthwhile. He also said that she is the future of the Jewish and American people. The content of the letter is as follows:

 Dear Leeya Eliana,

"This is Daddy and Mommy writing to you. You are now six days old, and you are tiny and cute, and you poop a lot — and you get really mad when anybody tries to change you. 

He continued,

But you are also sweet and calm, and you look at us with your huge blue-gray eyes, and we love you so much because we know that not only are you a manifestation of how much Mommy and Daddy love each other."

He further added,

"But you are the future of the Jewish people and the American people, and that we are preserving God's word and His freedom for the next generations. That's why we gave you your name: Leeya — in Hebrew, "I Belong To God."

Ben continued about the name of his daughter and how it the answer of God. Shapiro, furthermore, thanked God for giving him a healthy baby.

Parents' (Ben and Mor) Marital Relationship

Meanwhile, Leeya Eliana is too young to be in a kind of relationship or date anyone. Thus, moving towards her parent's marital life, mother, Mor, and father, Ben has been living a blessed married life together for many years.

The couple shared the wedding knot in the year 2008 at an intimate ceremony. The traditional Jewish marriage function was held in Acre, Israel, in the presence of families and close friends. Before becoming a husband and wife, these lovebirds dated for several years and also announced their engagement in 2007.

Ben's Comment On "Glass Onion" Again Bring Him Into the Limelight

Being a renowned personality, it is relatively hard to avoid the limelight. Recently, Ben came into the limelight after sharing his views regarding the 2022 release mystery crime movie "Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery".

He shared a review post regarding the movie in his Twitter handle captioning,

I regret to inform you that “Glass Onion” is actively bad. I will discuss first the actual writing of the movie followed by the politics of it. Both suck. SPOILERS follow.

In the comment section, he wrote about the small plot of the movie and also stated why he did not like the movie. Currently, the tweet has been seen by over 8 million people, whereas over 400 people have retweeted the post.
