Throughout his life, the band member of Kings of Rhythm got married at least fourteen times. Linda Trippeter's father's first marriage was with Edna Dean Stewart, whom he married on April 10, 1948, at age 16.

Turner's second wife was Velma Davis, whom he married on September 19, 1950. They had one daughter named Linda but his book asserted that she was not a biological daughter. Then he got hitched to Rosa Lee Sane in West Memphis, Arkansas.

Two Grammy Awards winner, Turner's fourth wife was Marion Louis Lee (Bonnie Turner), whom he married on September 24, 1952, in Clarksdale. 

But they ended their union in 1955 after three years. After Bonnie, he remarried three wives, including  Alice, Annie Mae Wilson, and Lorraine Taylor. He shared two children named Ike Turner Jr. and Michael Turner with Lorraine.

Likewise, his popular conjugal relationship was with singer Tina Turner, whom he married from 1962–1978. During their marriage, they had two children named Raymond Craig Turner, and  Ronnie Turner.

Linda Trippeter's Musician Dad, Ike Dies at the Age of 76

On December 12, 2007, the superstar, Linda Trippeter's father, Ike Turner, left the world at the age of 76 at 11:38 am. Reportedly, Turner was found dead by his former wife Ann Thomas at his home in San Marcos, California.

Turner's funeral at the City of Refuge Church in Gardena, California, was held on 22 December 2007. Little Richard, Solomon Burke, and Phil Spector were among those who spoke at the funeral ceremony.

The Rhythm Kings performed "Rocket 88" versions and "Proud Mary" versions. After the funeral service, Ike was cremated.

The San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office reported on January 16, 2008, that Turner died of a cocaine overdose. For him, the cause of death is cocaine toxicity with other significant conditions such as hypertensive cardiovascular disease and emphysema in the lung.
