Dawn Staley is an Olympic gold-winning basketball player who has competed professionally since the mid-1990s. She was born on May 4, 1970, and Staley turned 53 years old in 2023. 

She was born to Clarence and Estelle Staley. The basketball player is an American by nationality and White by ethnicity. She is best known as an Olympic gold medallist who went on to win numerous accolades as a player in the WNBA.

After finishing her playing career, she became a coach. The star took her first coaching job at Temple in 2000. Since then, she has coached the South Carolina State and US women’s teams. 

As for her sexual orientation, she has been secretive about her orientation. While many consider her to be a member of the LGBTQ community, she has never explicitly confirmed it.
