Liu announced the happy news through the Instagram post captioning, "Introducing the new little man in my life, my son Rockwell Lloyd Liu." Declaring on choosing the method Lucy described saying, 

"It just seemed like the right option for me because I was working and I didn’t know when I was going to be able to stop."

The single mother is merrily parenting her beloved kid. She prefers to spend quality time with her baby boy. Additionally, she also shares adorable pictures with Rockwell on her official social networking accounts.

Early Life

The talented and beautiful actress Lucy was born on December 2, 1968, in Jackson Heights, New York, USA. She is the daughter of Cecilia Liu (mother) and Tom Liu (father). Her mom Cecilia who is a biochemist is originally from Beijing and her dad Tom, a qualified civil engineer is from Shanghai.

Liu has two elder siblings, a brother named John and a sister named Jenny Liu. Concerning Lucy's academic background, she attended Joseph Pulitzer Middle School situated in New York City.

Later, she graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1986. Afterward, Lucy joined New York University, but later she transferred to the University of Michigan (UM). From UM she earned a degree in Asian Languages and Cultures.
