Maisie Richardson-Sellers was born in England on March 2, 1992 where another actress Billie Piper was also born. Since not much information is available about her family and how she grew up, it is known that she was brought up in a family of performers in the stage.

Both Richardson-sellers and Clay were very open about their relationship, sharing each other's photos together on their social media. The actress shared an image on December 2017 with Clay celebrating together as a couple their first anniversary.

Also on July 8, 2018, she posted a picture with Clay making fans sure that the two are a couple. She captioned the image Happy Pride London and hashtag Love is love.
