Leon was originally a woman named Mariah Brown. After they came out as a gay in 2017, they came out as a trans later in 2022. They changed their name to Leon and they also stated that they were fine with the name Leo.
In the same post that Leon came out as gay, they also announced that their pronouns are now they/them. And they would not tolerate others disrespecting their decision by referring to them by their old name and pronoun as they don't want to be restricted into being one gender over the other.
