Who is Marilyn Wilson Rutherford?

Marilyn Wilson Rutherford is an American singer and the ex-wife of the renown singer Brian Wilson. She founded the band American Spring along with her sister. Also, she works as a real estate agent in Los Angeles, California.

Marilyn was born on February 6, 1947, in Chicago, Illinois. She holds an American nationality and her birth sign is Aquarius. She has not disclosed the details about her parents but Wilson has a younger sister Diane Rovell who is also a singer.

Marie started her career in the early '60s, however, she couldn't rise up to fame. She got recognition when she tied the knot with her former husband Brian Wilson. 

In 1971, Marilyn formed the American Spring along with Diane and recorded a few singles. Later on, she temporarily stopped her career. She reunited with the Honey and came with an album Ecstasy in 1983. She also featured with numerous documentaries for the Beach Boys. In 2012. she was starred in her daughter's reality show, Wilson Phillips Still Holding On. Currently, Rutherford works as a real estate agent in Los Angeles.

Marilyn was previously married to Brian Wilson. The couple started dating when Marilyn was 15 and Brian was 20. Brian first met Wilson when she went to attended a concert of Beach Boys at Pandora's Box in October 1962. Her sister was dating Brian's collaborator, Gary Usher. The love bird fell in love with each other and further dated for a long time.

Eventually, she and Brian exchanged their wedding vows on December 7, 1964. The couple shared two daughters, Carnie Wilson, and Wendy Wilson. Despite that, the couple started divulging away when Brian's father's death brought him to seclusion. Although Marilyn tried to be with him, the couple decided to part away.

Brian and Marilyn amicably went for a divorce in 1979. Recently, Marilyn remarried a man but has not disclosed his identity. It is rumored that he also works as a real estate agent. However, we are yet to confirm. 

Marilyn goes by the title Marilyn Wilson Rutherford. She currently resides along with her husband in California. News about her baby or her pregnancy has not come in the media.
