Megan Skiendiel

Megan was born on February 10, 2006, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She is of mixed heritage with a Swedish-American father and a Singaporean-Chinese mother. She is half Singaporean and has good family ties, such as her maternal grandmother in Singapore to which she travels frequently. 

Early Life and Interests 

She began dancing at the age of four and, at a young age, was interested in acting, modeling, and playing the ukulele. Megan trained as a J-pop trainee before joining the global K-pop industry. 

Career Beginnings and Development 

Megan's career got a major boost when she auditioned for the global survival show "The Debut: Dream Academy," which launched in 2021. Out of more than 120,000 applicants worldwide, Megan was ranked 5th, becoming a member of multinational girl group KATSEYE. 

The group debuted in 2023 under Geffen Records and HYBE Entertainment. 

KATSEYE and Overseeing Music Career 

KATSEYE officially debuted in June 2024 with the release of the single "Debut." Megan is most noted as an all-rounder for the group, providing as a singer, dancer, and performer. The group has performed at major award shows and events such as the 2024 MAMA Awards, 2025 Kids' Choice Awards, and the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
