Dr. Michael wrote a children's book My Beautiful Mommy in May 2015. The book focuses on a young girl as her mother undergoes abdominoplasty and rhinoplasty.

Controversies

Firstly, his children's book My Beautiful Mommy was accused of destroying the self-esteem of kids and giving them the incorrect picture of surgery.

The doctor answered the criticism by saying, "The book is just trying to make the process as understandable as possible for the children, so they can feel included and don't have to make up things about what's going on in their minds" and "This book was written with the best of intentions.

He also stated:

" It is not intended to be a best seller that children read with their parents before they go to sleep."

In 2009,  Michael released an iPhone application for virtual plastic surgery that allowed users to tweak their own photographs to simulate surgery.

In 2012, he was caused in the Jewish Stereotypes of the Orthodox, producing a video with the Jewish punk band  and The Groggers titled "Jewcan Sam." Later, they were accused of playing Jewish stereotypes after an inquiry by the Merican Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Besides the doctor, Michael is also an author who released a song called Flawless alongside musician, Adam Barta in 2017.
