Mysonne first featured on Ma$e's Double Up and Ruff Ryders' Ryde Or Died, Vol. 1 over two decades ago. Further, The Bronx, New York MC has impacted various stages for years, including his performance at last year's BET Hip Hop Awards.

Apart from that, he has co-founded the intersectional social, and racial justice organization led named UNTIL FREEDOM.

Mysonne's Professional Career

Mysonne met with representatives from Wanna Blow Entertainment in 1997 and joined their crew which also featured Jae Millz. He has struck a deal with Def Jam Records and Chris Lighty's Violator hip-hop and R&B management company. 

Then the rapper was featured on Mase's Double Up, Ruff Ryders' Ryde or Die Vol. 1, Violator's collection Violator: The Album, and DMX's The Great Depression. Likewise, his major debut album Life Teaches and Reality Bites was slated to arrive in 1999, with Busta Rhymes.

However, after he was found guilty of two taxi robberies, he derailed his career. A cab driver was robbed and assaulted with a beer bottle in 1997, which was the first theft. 

Mysonne's Prison Life

Mysonne was sentenced to seven years in jail after he was found guilty of robbing a cab driver robbed at gunpoint in 1998. He, however, maintains his innocence, claiming that the cab driver was not stolen but a violent confrontation about the cab price, which he said was three dollars overvalued. 

Linen was released from jail in July 2006 and reconnected with his son, whom he had abandoned when he was a toddler. Since then, he has released several mixtapes and songs and collaborations with musicians like The Game, Rick Ross, and Chi-Ali.
