Nicolette Zangara was born into an Italian-American family in the northern suburb of Chicago, Illinois, USA. She is the older daughter of Christina Maria Zangara (mother), and Philip Zangara (father). Furthermore, she grew up with two younger siblings, Brianna Zangara, and Giovanni Zangara.

Unfortunately, Nicolette's mom, Christina passed away at the age of 43 on 10th June 2012 in Waukegan Illinois. Later, she and her other family members held a memorial service at Prince of Peace Church in Lake Villa, Illinois on 15th June 2012.

On the other side, Nicolette's maternal grandparents, Rudolph DePalma and Donna DePalma were Italian immigrants who moved to the USA. Moreover, her granddad is a distinguished pilot, who taught her about storms, cloud types, and other weather phenomena with the help of weather books. Also, she has two aunts, Ginny Meyer, Marge Poteracki, and one uncle, Richard Cerami (via Nicolette's mother).

Nicolette completed her intermediary education with a 4.1 GPA at the Warren Township High School in 2016. Moreover, she enrolled at the University of Florida, where she majored in telecommunications. Chicago, Ilinois native, Nicolette pursued her career as a cashier at a frozen yogurt shop, Suzy's Swirl in 2014. Later, she served as the vice president of the Drama Club at Warren Township High School from 2015 to 2016. She, further, worked as a hostess and cashier at a chicken wings restaurant, Buffalo Wild Wings in the same year.

Nicolette spent her early years as a cashier, waitress, and bartender at a Mediterranean restaurant, Leonardo's 706 from 2018 to 2020. She also became a camp counselor at Gurnee Park District (2017) and acted for Magical Moments Princess from 2015 to 2018.

Zangara then got the opportunity to work as a weather forecaster for WUFT-FM station based in Gainesville, Florida in 2017.
