American counselor, Patrice Comey is best known for her crime procedural service as a special advocate in the Juvenile court. For her involvement in Juvenile justice crime issues within the country gained a huge recognition.

Former Bridgeport Superior Court volunteer, Patrice is happily married to her college sweetheart, James Comey since 1987. As of now, her husband was an American lawyer. He served under the service of former U.S. presidents, George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump.

The couple first met during the cocktail party of College of William and Mary through a mutual friend in 1978. They later started dating shortly afterward and got engaged after finishing graduation. Since then, the rest is history.

Became Foster Parents after the Death of Their Son, Collin Comey! 

Patrice Comey and the 6 feet 8 inches tall, James found the joy of their life when they became parents of their first child, Collin Edward Comey on 4th August 2005. At the time of birth, their son weighed 7 pounds and 6 ounces.

When the duo's son, Collin was 16 months old, he was diagnosed with a Group B streptococcal disease. Unfortunately, he passed away despite the fact that the bacterial infection was treatable.

Following the demise of Collin, Patrice wrote a long op-ed column about her son's cause of death. She "urged in support of screening for the bacteria during pregnancy." 

In the column, Patrice wrote that her baby passed away one month ago today when he was nine days old. She told her son was killed by a curable infection. She is sharing her tragedy so other pregnant mothers might be saved.

Patrice and her husband, James are now proud parents of their five foster children, Abby, Claire, Brien, Kate, and Maurene Comey. Moreover, one of their foster daughters, Maurene is an alumni of Harvard Law School in the class of 2013. She now serves as an assistant attorney at the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.

Patrice Comey's Early Life 

Westport, Connecticut-based counselor, Comey was born as Patrice Failor was born to Mr. Edward Dale Failor, and Mrs. Isobel Maurene Julius. She has two siblings, including one sister, Michelle Olson and one brother, Edward Dale Failor Jr.

After high school graduation, Patrice went to study at The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia. During her tenure at college, she served in the student affairs department as a counselor. She later earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Counseling degree.

Patrice, further, enrolled at The Modern Jesuit Catholic University, Fairfield University based in Fairfield, Connecticut for higher studies. She completed her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Counseling degree from the university. Likewise, an American journalist, John Gizzi is also an alumni of the "Stags".
