Ricki Lake Blissfully Engaged to Ross Burningham - Past Relationship Details

The 52-years-old American actress Ricki Lake recently shared about her relationship status. She revealed that she is engaged to her boyfriend Ross Burningham.

The Hairspray actress announced the happy news via Instagram. She uploaded her photo alongside her boyfriend, captioning the photo: "Friends, I’m so so so excited to share some good news! I’m engaged! This is Ross. He is my person. He is wonderful."

Finally, she opened up her personal feelings to her beloved fans. And, the fans are also happy for them despite her tragic past. It looks like she is in a serious relationship as she shared that she really loved him and feels so grateful to be loved back.

The Cry-Baby actress is ready and feeling joy for their future and hopes to be a kid again. As per reports from some media outlets, the lovable couple has been dating for a year, but they made their relationship official last December. We have no clues as, why the gorgeous actress took a year to reveal her relationship status.

Going to her past relationship, she was married to her ex-husband Christian Evans. Christian was suffering from bipolar disorder and passed away in 2017 by suicide. It's already been 4 years since Ricki Lake is living on despite her tragic past. Unexpectedly, the exciting news of Ricki Lake and Ross Burningham popped out after the four years of Ricki's ex-husband Christan death.

It seems that Ricki Lake and her late ex-husband Christian Evans don't share any children. Actor Haegan Mills also died at a young age.

Back in 2020, that was a miserable year of Ricki as she shaved her head and opened up about her own suicidal thoughts. She also mentioned that it was too hard for her to live on. She also said that:

"It has been debilitating, embarrassing, painful, scary, depressing, lonely, all the things. There have been a few times where I have even felt suicidal over it.

Ricki Lake married Rob Sussman on 26th March 1994 after dating for a year. However, their married relationship lasted for eleven years, and they got separated from each other. The former couple finalized their divorce in the year 2005. 

Keeping her tragic past, she is now leading a happy life and also found her right person. Apart from that, she is best known for hosting The Ricki Lake Show from 1993 to 2004.
