According to the Parade, Sara and Ryan first locked eyes with each other at an after-party. After some initial conversation, the couple felt a connection between them and they kept seeing each other.

In June 2011, Sara and her business analyst partner took a romantic trip to Paris. During their summer vacation, Debolt popped the big question to Sara in the most romantic fashion possible.

The Clock is Ticking for Children
Even after seven years of their marital life, Sara and Ryan still have not welcomed any child in their life. But that doesn't mean Ramirez does not want to have any children. In an interview with Latina.com, Sara talked about the possibility of getting pregnant with a child.

"I'm thinking about it- I will say that. I'm very aware of how old I am and I'm very aware of what that means regarding statistics, and so, yes, I'm considering it. The clock's ticking, and I totally hear it!".
On March 27, 2014, paparazzi spotted Ramirez with a stomach bulge when she was enjoying a romantic dinner with her spouse. But to the disappointment of her fans, the actress was not pregnant.
Even though she does not have her own offspring, Ramirez does have a soft spot for children. In 2016, the actress donated her hair to the Locks of Love organization to help make a wig for children suffering from hair loss.

In October 2016, Sara came out as bisexual at the True Colors Fund's 40 to None Summit. At the big speech, Ramirez confessed that she always told her family and friend since the age of 18.
