Who is Saira Khan?

Saira Khan is a British celebrity and television presenter. She is well known as the runner-up on the UK  series of the reality television show The Apprentice in 2005.

Saira Khan was born on 15th May 1970, In Long Eaton, Derbyshire, England, where another BBC journalist Wendy Hurrell was also born. Born to her Pakistani parents Jan Mohammed Khan and Hanifa Khan, she is of Asian ethnicity and holds dual nationality (British-Pakistani).

Khan's parents are the immigrants from Kashmir Pakistan. She is from elite Sudan family. Saira's father was very abusive, and he passed away when she was twenty-eight years old. There is no information about her educational background. To work as a journalist for BBC, no doubt, Khan has graduated from her University with good grades. 

Moreover, Saira was raped by the elder member of her family when she was only thirteen. She revealed about this in 2016 during an interview with Loose Women, which was hosted by Kate Silverton.

In 2006, Saira presented on the show Temper Your Temper, a program which deals with anger management. Moreover, she has also presented various documentaries while working at BBC, which includes "Saira Khan's Pakistan Adventure" and "Adopting Abroad, Saira's Story." She also made her appearance as a guest on a variety of ITV, and BBC shows such as Countdown and Ready Steady Cook.

The same year, Saira made a new campaign named OUR SAY for national and local referenda regarding the issues of major public interest. Additionally, Khan also owns a baby products line named Miami. 

Besides her television profession, Saira is also popular for her books such as P.U.S.H. For Success. In 2016, Khan joined the reality show Celebrity Big Brother and participated in the show's eighteenth series.

Additionally, Saira also appeared in the eleventh series of Dancing on Ice after getting rejected on the previous season.

Is she married or single?

Saira Khan is a married woman. She exchanged her wedding vows with Steven Hyde in 2005. The couple dated for three years before getting married. Talking about her husband, Steven owns an advertising agency.

Furthermore, there are no rumors or controversies about the couple that leads to their separation or divorce. Khan is in a marital relation with her spouse for more thana decade and still shares a strong bond.

Moreover, 2011, Khan suffered from a miscarriage which made difficulties to have a second child. So, Saira went to Edhi Foundation Orphanage in Pakistan, where she adopted her second child Amara. During the time, she was only four years old.
