Further, he got married to Nastassja Kinski, but their relationship couldn't last long, and in 1992 the couple decided to part way. However, the reason behind their separation is not made public.

On June 24, 2012, Moussa met his end and passed away due to aging in Los Angeles, California, USA.

After parting with Ibrahim Moussa, Nastassja Kinski took Sonja's custody and moved to Los Angeles. There she falls in love with a musician and producer, Quincy Jones, and soon the couple married each other. 

But Sonja was unhappy with the decision and didn't even consider Jones, her father. However, Jones convinced her, and later she considered her true father, who raised and advised her in life.
