Sue Johnston is an English actress. She is well known for her role as Sheila Grant in the Channel 4 soap opera Brook-side, in the comedy, The Royle Family as Barbara Royle, and in the ongoing famous TV series, Waking the Dead as Grace Foley. 

The 75 years old, Sue Johnson was born in Warrington, Lancashire, England. She spend her childhood on Prescot and on the same place where she was born. Later she graduated from Prescot and Huyton Grammar School for Girls. Then, she pursued her career towards acting. Before that she completed her study at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in London.

Sue Johnsotn is a married woman; married twice in her life. First she was in a married relationship with Neil Johnston. The couple was married on 1967. After marriage Sue was pregnant but she went through a sad miscarriage; which we expect to be the reason behind their separation.

After her sad saperation from Neil, Sue found another partner, David Pammenter.
