Tiger King, Hit Netflix Series Will Return For Season 2

If you are a fan of the hit Netflix series Tiger King, you have good news. "Tiger King" is making its comeback in 2021.

On Thursday, Netflix announced promising that Season 2 will have "just as much mayhem and madness as season 1."

According to the reports of Variety, Directors Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin are returning for the 2nd season with executive producers Chris Smith and Fisher Stevens. Good and Chaiklin are also expecting to work as executive producers.

There is only one season available on Netflix, consisting of seven episodes and a special that originally aired on April 12, 2020, where Joel McHale interviewed several people involved in the docuseries.

However, the 1st season focused on Joe Exotic, Carole Baskin, and other power players in the big cat game. According to Nielsen rating, over 34 million people has viewed the series during its first 10 days. And it becomes one of Netflix's most successful releases.

Though Netflix has confirmed that Tiger King season 2 is coming in Netflix in 2021, when the series will be released is not fixed yet. It might come in October, November, or December. Since there is no name of the Tiger King on the list which Netflix has shared of new movies and shows coming in October 2021, it is sure that the new season isn't coming in October.

It is unclear what Netflix has planned, but we expect Netflix to share the release date for season 2 at TUDUM. So, we have to be patient and wait for the release date of the season.
